Tradelink attended the 56th Pan Asian e-Commerce Alliance Steering Committee and Working Group Meetings
Tradelink Electronic Commerce Limited ("Tradelink", SEHK: 0536), as Hong Kong's representative member in the Pan Asian e-Commerce Alliance ("PAA"), attended the 56th PAA Steering Committee and Working Group Meetings, hosted by InterCommerce Network Services Inc (InterCommerce) from 6 to 9 Nov 2017 in Manila. The representatives from PAA member economies included Philippines, China, Hong Kong SAR, Indonesia, Japan, Macao SAR, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan and Thailand attended these meetings.
During the welcome dinner at the PAA Fellowship Night, PAA Chairman Mr. Saw Ken Wye updated members about the recent APEC Business Advisory Council (ABAC) meeting held in Danang, Vietnam. At the ABAC meeting, it was agreed that new Working Group would be formed to look into issues and opportunities related to digitalization as a key priority focus area. Given our experience and achievement in driving seamless cross border e-trade, PAA is well positioned to play a key role in this area.
The next PAA Steering Committee & Working Group Meetings will be held from 7 to 9 May 2018 in Singapore.
