The government is expected to set up the Digital Policy Office by mid-year to formulate policies promoting digital economy and expedite bureaux/departments in offering more digital government services, which include, among other things, the development of digital government infrastructure, a "digital identity of enterprises" platform, the implementation of "100+ digital government initiatives" and the provision of electronic payment options for all government services.
Through our wide range of services/solutions including our recently launched digital onboarding and signing solution, TD-Sign, as well as other Identity Management and Payment Technology Solutions, we look forward to empowering businesses across various industries to embrace digital transformation and seize the opportunities brought about by the government's initiatives.

We were invited by Aegis Custody to share our digital signing solution at its seminar on 'Web 3 Compliance for Banks & Broker Dealers' on 6 May. Our team introduced how TD-Sign supports e-passport holders to remotely apply for recognized certificates for digital onboarding The solution helps banks/brokers meet regulators' Know-Your-Customer requirements of their overseas customers enabling them to conduct trading of virtual asset ETFs.

On 17 May, our Senior Vice President of Identity Management, Kenny To, was invited by BDO Limited to speak at its seminar on "AI adoption, impact, and opportunities". Kenny shared insights on how AI technologies, such as liveness detection and anti-deepfake, are applied in RegTech solutions to help financial institutions ensure regulatory compliance and offer more secure financial services.

Tradelink CTO demonstrated TD-Sign Solution at Thales's webinar
|
|
On 24 May, our Executive Director and CTO, Andrew Cheng, was invited by Thales to present on ‘Next-gen Digital Onboarding Solutions' at its APAC Partner Webinar Series. Andrew demonstrated how our TD-Sign Solution facilitates overseas individuals apply Personal (Remote) ID-Cert Class 12 and uses the certificate for digital onboarding and signing. He also announced that TD-Sign will extend its service scope later the year to support global corporates through a new recognized certificate, Organization (Remote) ID-Cert Class 15.

Certificate of Origin (CO) service soon available on Tradelink Online Platform |
We are excited to announce that our CO service will be available on Tradelink secure online platform in Q3 2024. Customers who are currently using CO service on our ValuNet Deluxe Software will be invited to migrate to our online platform. After the migration, customers can access CO and other GETS services such as TDEC and ROCARS seamlessly on our online platform with single sign-on and enjoy a unified and user-friendly user interface. |

Tradelink empowers a document signing platform in GBA to support legally-binding document signing using recognized certificates |
We worked with Guanfu Consume Financial Information Technology Co., Limited to implement our TD-Sign Solution for its third-party document signing platform, Speedy Global Sign, which supports remote cross-border signing of legally-binding documents such as employment contracts, tenancy agreements within the Greater Bay Area. Our solution enables e-passport holders to remotely apply for Personal (Remote) ID-Cert Class 12, and perform digital signing of documents with the use of such recognized certificate. |

We strive to maintain effective communication with our stakeholders. We held this year's AGM at Hotel Cozi on 24 May, at which shareholders casted their votes on resolutions including final dividend, election of directors, etc.

Tradelink Staff Club organised 2 exciting activities over April/May |

On 20 April, about 25 Tradelink staff and their families and friends participated in a war game experience demonstrating their marksmanship and tactical skills, while fostering teamwork and friendship. To celebrate Mother's Day and encourage colleagues to express their love through handmade gifts, about 20 staff participated in a beeswax aroma stone workshop which was held at our office on 15 May. |

Fire Services Department conducted CPR and AED course at Tradelink office |

At Tradelink, we strive to protect the safety and health of employees from occupational hazards through different measures. On 27 May, a training course on Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and the use of Automated External Defibrillator (AED) led by instructors from the Fire Services Department (FSD) was held at our office. About 20 Staff completed the course and they were given a certificate issued by FSD. |
