Background
- Our client is an expanding logistics service provider in Hong Kong primarily focused on freight transportation between Mainland China and Hong Kong, local outbound/inbound delivery, container installation and demolition services, etc.
- They have extended its services to local warehousing and distribution in recent years with an aim of providing all-round and one-stop high quality logistics services
Challenges
- The client did not have an existing WMS for inventory / logistics management of its warehouse and relied on manual documentation and stocktaking which are time-consuming and error-prone
- Before the launch of TVP, the client, as a local SME, had been facing resource issues and technophobic towards digitalization
