Tradelink, a leading provider of digital solutions for Hong Kong business community, was honoured to be invited as a guest speaker at the launch event of the International Digital Economies Association (IDEA) held at the Grand Hyatt Hong Kong on 25 Jan 2024.

Organised by Digital Pilipinas as a co-located event of the Asian Financial Forum (AFF) 2024, the event brought together prominent leaders in the ASEAN digital economy sector to discuss the theme “Accelerating Cooperation Between the Digital Economies Around the World”. Tradelink’s Executive Director and Chief Technology Officer, Andrew Cheng, was invited as one of the speakers in the panel discussion along with several other digital economy experts in the region.

Andrew shared how Tradelink has been committing to driving digital transformation in Hong Kong for over three decades. He also introduced Tradelink’s latest remote digital onboarding and document signing solution that supports recognized certificates issued to remote applications from passport holders around the globe for document signing. The use of Personal (Remote) ID-Cert Class 12, in our solution for identification sets the new trend in the market. This remote certificate is issued by Digi-Sign Certification Services Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tradelink and the only commercial Recognized Certification Authority under the Electronic Transactions Ordinance (ETO) (Cap 553) in Hong Kong. Our solution enables businesses achieve enhanced security for cross border document exchanges in compliance with the relevant regulatory requirements in Hong Kong.
