PAA expands the service coverage to India
Tradelink Electronic Commerce Limited as Hong Kong's representative member in the Pan Asian e-Commerce Alliance ("PAA"), attended the 59th Pan Asian e-Commerce Alliance (PAA) Steering Committee and Working Group Meetings hosted by China International Electronic Commerce Center held in Yinchuan from May 12th to 14th, 2019. Representatives from 12 member economies including China, Chinese Taipei, Indonesia, Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, South Korea, Japan, Thailand, Macau, Hong Kong and India attended the meetings.
Being the pioneer in cross border trade facilitation, PAA members shared various cross border projects for seamless value chain and secure supply chain in the meeting. Blockchain initiatives that facilitate the exchange of electronic Sanitary and Phytosanitary Certificates and commercial invoices were also reported by members.
To extend the service coverage of PAA, Kale Logistics from India was admitted as Associate Member of PAA. Kale Logistics was warmly welcomed by PAA for service extension to South Asia.
The next PAA Steering Committee meeting will be held on November 12th to 14th 2019 in Kuala Lumpur.
