WMS enhancement project for a telecoms giant to further streamline warehouse operations with paperless processes in compliance with its ESG policies

Our Supply Chain Solutions business continues to earn the trust of our clients as we are pleased to confirm a Warehouse Management System ("WMS") enhancement project from a repeat customer who is a major telecommunication service provider in Hong Kong.

The enhancement project was developed on the WMS we previously deployed at the client's equipment warehouse in support of the routine maintenance of its 5G facilities. To align with the Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) policy of the client, we have developed self-service kiosks featuring touch screen interface and barcode/QR code scanners to help our client further streamline its warehouse operations through paperless processes. Integrated with the WMS, these kiosks provide functions for couriers/contractors to validate the scheduled pick up order and for warehouse operators/managers to record and sign off the items picked up by couriers/contractors without using paper throughout the whole process. To enhance information transparency and facilitate information sharing among warehouse users, we have also developed a dashboard on the WMS showing real time warehouse information such as inventory turnover rate and inbound/outbound operations summary, etc.

In addition to the above-mentioned enhancement project, we also received another new order from this client for the deployment of another WMS in support of its other retail businesses. We are glad to become a trusted partner of this client and be able to build a long-term collaborative relationship with it. This partnership is a testament that demonstrates our strong commitment to help customer in maximising digital efficiency.

PKI-based digital signing solution gained trust in the healthcare section as a second order was received from a major private hospital for a similar solution to support electronic medical-related document management

Following the deployment of our Public Key Infrastructure ("PKI")-based digital signing solution at a major private hospital, we are delighted to be able to increase our presence in the healthcare sector as we received a second order from another major private hospital in Hong Kong to deploy the solution to facilitate paperless and electronic medical record management.

Leveraging the unique position of the group company Digi-Sign Certification Limited ("Digi-Sign") as the only commercial Recognized Certificate Authority under the Electronic Transactions Ordinance, we are one of the few market players capable of providing a PKI-based solution that can generate secure and legally-binding digital signatures using digital certificates issued by Digi-Sign. With the Hardware Security Module devices provided by our hardware partner, our PKI-based solution offers the custody of digital certificates with a self-management portal and a remote signing engine which integrates with the hospital's internal system and supports trusted PDF signatures on medical records or related documents. Our solution helps our client to achieve a paperless signing workflow facilitating the management of medical-related documents and enhancing operational efficiency and data security of the hospital.

We are delighted that our digital signing solution has successfully gained the trust of the healthcare sector. Aware of the growing general interest in digital signatures, we are actively promoting our solution not only to the healthcare sector but also to government departments / statutory bodies, security and audit industries, which share the need for digital document signing as part of their document management process to enhance operational efficiency and data security.
